Positive images of our members enjoying hockey are essential to help us promote our club including achievements, hockey generally and a healthy lifestyle. We also understand that parents, guardians, family members and friends want to celebrate the achievements of our players the photographs and recorded images.

We are committed to providing a safe environment for all our members and as the interests and welfare of young people taking part in hockey is paramount therefore we are dedicated to ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to protect young people from the inappropriate or uninformed use of their images in resources and media publications, on the internet, and elsewhere.

We will seek photography consent from all our players during member registration, in addition to implementing our full Photography Consent Guidance which you can read below which means we will maintain these 5 key rules .

5 RULES TO REMEMBER

1. If a player is named, avoid using their photograph.
2. If a photograph is used, avoid naming the player. NEVER publish personal details such as telephone number or address.
3. Ensure those featured are appropriately dressed.
4. Represent a broad range of young people in the shot rather than focus on individuals.
5. No consent, No photo!
